Text cursor disappearing (version 3099)

Since the last update (version 3099), the text cursor becomes invisible if it is placed after the last glyph (or line break, strictly speaking).

Probably related: If I press the upwards cursor key (when after the last glyph) then the text cursor appears before the very first glyph (instead of one line above).

Happens on my iMac and MacBook, in various kinds of fonts.
