Hello! I apologise if this topic has been mentioned before, I couldn’t find anything related.
I am trying to write a script that would center align blocks of texts in the viewport in text mode, as if I understand correctly, it is only possible to left align it now, on top of the writing directions options. I have read the documentation, and if I can find a “textAlign” value in Robofont for the SpaceCenter, I am not able to find a similar option for Glyphs. It would be incredibly useful for me to have this feature, and I was wondering if it was on my part or if it is not possible to do that, and if it isn’t, if there is a way it could be implemented.
In an ideal world, it would be amazing if I could automatically center align the text in the viewport in text mode, without having to fake it with spaces. My reasoning behind that is that my workflow consists in taking a lot of Glyphs screenshots, and as much as I understand that Glyphs is not a text layout application, I just think it looks nice when text is center aligned I also work with particular display fonts that are meant to be read vertically and centered, and it would be super nice if I could test the intended use directly in Glyphs.
