The custom axis doesn't work

I was creating a variable font with four axis
the first try I created a font with a four custom axis but it didn’t work for some reason
the second try I ignored My custom axis naming and replaced it with the default axis names and tags (wght, wdth, ital, opsz) and every thing worked fine
the third try I mixed the custom naming with the default tags by choosing the first four default axis then changing the axis name and keeping the default tag and it worked

does glyphs support only the default axis or the custom axis will be supported in the future ?

here is a screenshot of the three fonts

The variable font export only fully supports three axis at the moment. That will be fixed in the next version, soon.
