with the update to catalina I somehow broke my toolbar, everything is doubled. does anyone know how to fix it? thanks
Wow. Never seen that before 
I suggest: Redownload the app, move it to the Applications folder, update it to the latest beta version. (Go to Glyphs > Preferences > Updates, activate both checkboxes and press the Update button.)

It still shows all tools twice
Can you check your plugins folder. (Script menu > Show script folder. Next to the script folder is the plugin folder). What do you find in it?
I have now solved the problem. some plugins were installed twice, once at ApplicationSupport>glyphs>plugins and once in glyphs>Contents>plugins. don’t know how this happened
