Hi!. So, recently I’ve been trying to deal with glyphs and adjust some of my fonts, but all of my tools (pen tool, move tool, text tool, and others, basically the ones that stay on top) don’t work anymore. They just stay in that greyish color (meaning they can’t be selected or used). Any tips to fix that?
If needed I’ll link a picture/video showing the issue
PS: I use Glyphs 2.6.5 and Big Sur beta 3
PS2: I’ve used Glyphs in the past with Big Sur beta installed and it worked fine, so I guess it ain’t related to the OS
Are you seeing this in Font View or in a glyph window? They are only active when you have a glyph window open.
Yes, It doesn’t work when I’m in a glyph window
Try the latest beta please. Go to Glyphs > Preferences > Updates, activate both checkboxes and press the Update button.
Which hardware are you using? Glyphs does not officially support Big Sur yet. So if you encounter glitches, we cannot help you much at the moment.
There are some things that changed in macOS. I haven’t fixed that for the Glyphs 2.
Update to the beta released today and the tool buttons work again.
