Trimming axes in variable font

Hi,

I am building a typeface with 7 weights.

Let’s say I don’t want to export the light and the black weight (the most extremes on the axis) — I can easily deactivate those weights in my export settings.

But can I do that too with my variable export, as if I were trimming the light and black weight in my variable export?

You’ll have to use fonttools for that.
