Very basic question, I know TrueType can handle component in its font file.
But Do TrueType instructions affect component glyphs such like Å, é and ½?
Should I hint all accented glyphs individually? When I hint A and ̊˚, Is Å hinted automatically?

You don’t need to hint components. The instructions in the base glyphs are applied to the composed glyphs as well.
