Hi Glyphs users
I have to create a typeface that consists of 3 distinct monospaced fonts. They differ in stroke width and size. The question is: how would you go about this task? So far I created the line-work in Illustrator and worked out a “plan of attack” for the development in Glyphs. However, I am wondering if there is a better (more efficient/automated) approach:
In Illustrator
- Adapt stroke thickness to specifications
- Outline strokes
- Adapt size
- Align glyphs with guidelines
- Copy/paste in Glyphs
The key question is: would it be easier to import the line-work into Glyphs and adapt stroke thickness and size there?
Thanks for your input.
