Unable to export font MakeOTF error

Hey everyone,

I should start by saying I’m super new to Glyphs, but I’ve made a bunch of fonts before. I’m having trouble exporting my font. It’s a suuuuper simple font, hasn’t got anything complex going on, just simple shapes.

I’m getting this error on export:

MakeOTF error
Error: “syntax error at “New” missing NUM [features.fea 13” in Feature file at line: 13

I’ve tried using articles and links I’ve found on this website, but I can’t seem to figure out how to fix this… It must be something I’m doing because I’ve never had this issue in fontographer. I don’t have much coding knowledge. if anyone could help, that would be amazing.

There is a problem in your File > Font Info > Features. A number value missing. Do you have a pos feature there?

Found it!

I added panose in font info, changed the values in the dialog and it filled in ‘New parameter 2, 0, 0, 0, 0…’ etc instead of ‘2, 0, 0, 0…’ etc. I think this is an error with Glyphs App, as I wasn’t able to change it without doing so in the features.fea.

Why do you added the panose info? And can you send me the .glyphs file?
