# Unable to get rid of green note icon

In a few of my glyphs there’s this little green note-icon. It’s a question of just 5-8 glyphs out of a character set of 1000.

It seems to have happened after taking the project from Glyphs 3 to Glyphs 4.

Even though it clearly looks like an annotation I’ve made, there’s no annotations to be found inside any of the masters. So.. what is it? And how do I delete it?

Is _View \> Show Annotations_ on? Or is it a glyph note? Then you can display it in the bottom left corner of Font View.

If all else fails, run the mekkablue script _Garbage Collection,_ which can delete all non-shaping elements from your font.

this was a glyph note. The annotations draw a speech bubble.
