I am new to type design and I am currently trying out Glyphs. Today I tried to open a file (.otf) but all I get is: Das Dokument „1 - QuirogaSerif-Regular.otf“ konnte nicht geöffnet werden. The demo versions of Fontographer and TypeTool open it just fine.

Anything happening in the Console (in /Applications/Utilities/) while you try to open that particular OTF?

No, nothing happening in the Console.
And it’s version 1.3.17 (429)
I suppose it is some irregularity in the OTF that Fog and TT somehow can ignore. If you re-export it from Fog, can you open it in Glyphs then?
