Unable to save my font due to a "component" issue

Hi everyone !

I am encountering a problem for the first time when trying to save my font (there are no issues with export, I’m specifically talking about saving). This is the first time I’m creating an “all caps font,” so I assume the problem might be related to that, but I’m not sure. When I try to save my project, an error message appears saying:
The component in the glyph ‘A’ has attributes that cannot be saved in format 1.
Use at least format 3.

(I translated this error message from French to English, so I’m not sure if it’s accurate, and since I need to restart my computer to change the language, I prefer not to take the risk.)

Does anyone know what this could be? What does this format issue mean?

The file is using an old format that is compatible with Glyphs 2. However, some features that are new in Glyphs 3 cannot be saved with the old format.

Go to File → Font Info… → Other to change the file format to the new version to save a document using those new features. See the Handbook for details:
