Undo history muddled in G4

Recently I encountered several times when some “new paths” (or copy-pasting / delete, sorry I forgot it) and “moving” undo steps messed up with each other. Not sure the exact trigger or reproducing, but the appearance is that the history just missed the “paths” step and move on with the “moving” undo step.

Hope I described it clearly enough…

It really. Undo problems are very difficult to reproduce. Can you reproduce it enough so that you can make a screencast?
And can you try to do it without plugins,
