I’m mostly adding gradients and fill colors, but it happens often and I’m not sure what specific action is triggering it.
That is still helpful; I almost never see this dialog, but I also don’t work on a color font with gradients, so that should narrow it down. Thanks for the report!
Yes, I never saw it before until I started working with Color layers (Color Palette layers are fine).
OK, I think I narrowed it down further. 100% reproducible when I set stroke or fill color. Adding gradients is fine.

I have seen those. It has to do with the color panel. It is VERY tricky to work with.
