it’s maybe three months since my Glyphs 3.0.3 started to claim that I’m running the latest version… So it’s not possible to update. Where is the problem?

We are about to release a new update (3.0.4). We are working on some bigger features so the bug fix update are a bit slower. But you can check the progress by installing the cutting edge version (activate it in Preferences > Update > Show Cutting versions).
Thank you, and sorry - somehow I didn’t realize that I had switched off the “Show Cutting versions” option since I reinstalled Glyphs these three months ago.
