Use export plugin with .glyphsproject files?

Hello, I would love to use the .glyphsproject functionality more, in order to declutter my Export tab. However, I can’t seem to find a way to use export plugins with .glyphsproject files. Most importantly, I would like to use my custom export plugin. How can I do this?

Any input on this? I would really like to use the .glyphsproject format more, but not being able to run my own export plugin is a real bummer.
