Use images as letters

Hello!

I did a bit research today but i haven’t found anything that works. I would like to integrate images into my font instead of certain letters.
But when I put an image it gets gray and is invisible when I want to use the letter, (handy for drawing scans but this is not what I want).
I wanted to know if it was possible, it’s really very simple as a request.

Let me double check: you want the image to appear when you use the font (like an emoji), right?

This can be achieved with an sbix and/or SVG font. Read these two tutorials, please:

Be aware, though, that the fonts will not work everywhere. Support for these two variants is still not universal.
