Hello, I’m working on a somewhat experimental font where I have an existing variable font with 3 axis (and 8 masters) and I would like to add an extra axis. However, that axis is only meant to converge all other masters towards a single design.
The only way I’ve found to do this is to duplicate the new master with different values for each axis but it’s cumbersome and if I ever need to change anything in that master… it’s a nightmare. Admittedly, it’s for an experiment so it’s a workable solution but I was wondering if there was an option to do that? I looked into virtual masters but that didn’t seem to tackle that particular problem.
