Thanks for the file. The problem is the number of kerning pairs. 35000 pairs is quite a lot. And Glyphs didn’t handle that well. I fixed it.

I stil recommend to reduce the number of kerning pairs. More than two thirds of the size of the final font is just kerning (font file size: 1.5MB (without any kerning) vs 5.2MB (with kerning)).

Thank you – you mean it is fixed in the newest version of glyphs now? Or how did you manage to fix the issue? I just tried to re-export it again and the problem still remains?

  1. in the next beta update, the kerning issue is fixed
  2. do review the kerning, because your font has way too much of it; prbably better to review the spacing, and then automate the kerning with a tool like Kern On.
