Variable font with different numbers of anchor points in Masters

I’m about to export a variable font which is variable on width axis. A few glyphs change in the design so that they’ve got more anchors than the other masters. I thought I just could at the number of missing anchors at the other masters to “compensate” but the master compatibility view still says there’s an error. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for any kind of hint.

Maybe, what I’m trying to achieve is not possible at all, I attached a screenshot where you can see what the difference between the masters is.

How do you want this to interpolate?

Make sure the structure is the same, path direction and first node should be checked. If you have two nodes on top of each other, make sure which of the two is the actual first node.
