I can confirm it does not load (sub)folders. It does load aliased folders (this can be a workaround) and .py files placed directly in the Scripts folder.
To clarify that a little, it does not load any script folder that contains a subfolder.

Unless the folder is an alias in the Scripts folder. But then the subfolders are not displayed.
