Version numbers and change log in cutting edge builds

Cutting edge build 3039 describes itself as version 3.0.1. Shouldn’t that be 3.0.2, since 3.0.1 has already been released?

Also, the change log doesn’t show any changes since 3.0.1.

There is no cutting edge version right now. The next one will be 3.0.2.
