Hi, after setting my alignments zones I mostly never look at them again.
But Glyphs seems to force me to look at them (plus it’s highlighting the points that are on the alignment zones) when viewing the metrics. I find this quite distracting. Is there a way to turn this off – and if not – wouldn’t it be a good idea to seperate the three: viewing metrics/zones/points that are on the zones?
You need to make sure your nodes are in the zones, otherwise you get ugly rendering mistakes.
So I shouldn’t be able to turn viewing off because of that? Hinting is also important, but I can turn viewing off there, so why not the zones? I think it would be a good option – to get a cleaner view, while still see the metrics.
I’ll think about it.
For now, you could change the zone color in Preferences. Set it’s alpha to almost zero.
Cool, thanks. Ok, setting opacity to zero makes the zones disappear. But then I never can see them, so an option would be nice…
