Virtual class in features?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering The list of class that can be automatically generated? (FontLab list, see below)

I know there is uppercase and lowercase that can be automatically generated and I know I can do it by hand or by smart filter but that would be so convenient to have something for ascenders or descenders! :slight_smile:

I think I have a better solution in the next version. :wink:

But what does “Capitals with top overshoot” mean? With accents? What would that be used for?

Some designers like their accents shifted a bit when there is an overshoot. So for something like this:

pos @topOvershoot @combiningTopMarks' <0 10 0 0>;

I am designing case sensitive glyphs and realise I could add diacritics and other ascender lowercase glyphs in that variable list (i.e. i or l for case sensitive parentheses).

I believe Capitals with top overshoot means Capitals with top diacritics indeed.

I am sorry I don’t really understand what do you mean by ‘accents shifted’
