Why does Glyphs delete groups.plist from UFO?

If I open a UFO that has some groups in groups.plist Glyphs shows those under Features->Classes which is ok, but save the UFO and groups.plist is deleted. That’s unacceptable and breaks everything for a UFO workflow.
