Word wrap with contextually subbed /space

I notice with a /space.ss01 feature (a different advance width than /space), Glyphs gets confused on where to wrap lines. In the Edit window, Glyphs will mistakenly allow a space.ss01 to start a line, and in printing the screen, the handling is worse as no word breaks are recognized at all.

Is this a bug?

The openType layout in glyphs is a bit too simple to be able to handle this.
