When i export a font and then view it within fontbook it shows the unique name as 1.000;UKWN. The font works fine in adobe products but not in ms word.
Did you set a family name?
The 1.000;UKWN is a font editor default and corresponds to the 1.000 font version, and the vendor ID (default if unset: UKWN).
Yes, I have a family name. I did some troubleshooting and it indicated that could be the issue. However, I loaded the font onto my husband’s computer and it works fine in word on his.
Then you are looking at a font caching issue, that’s normal.
Simply reinstalling a font often won’t show the latest version. If it works fine on a similar computer, your font is fine.
