I have a problem when selecting “ranges”, you can see it in the video.
Selection disappears when I press the Numbers. It is a minor problem, I can always add them later, but it bugs me and would appreciate if there is some solution.

I think this is expected. Multiple selection narrows down or widens the number of characters to display depending on the combination of category. If your selections are both the same category (e.g. latin and cyrillic are both letter), then they are added together.
Yes. Toshi is right. The selection you made would give you all the numbers inside the Latin and Cyrillic letters, which is none.
