Are there any known problems/issues with using accents in font names? In print and online?
I have a couple of font names that are European words and have accents like á and ó in them. When the OTF is exported the .otf file name loses the accent but once installed the name appears correctly with accents in the character dropdown in InDesign, which is fine. But working on a website I notice Fontface Ninja doesn’t recognise font names with accents…
Is using accents a no no?

Some accents are fine (the ones that are in MacRoman). But you need to set a plain 7-bit ASCII postscriptFontName (as custom parameter in each instance).
I din’t try that so you need to test things very thoroughly.
