Allow wildcards in "Disable Master" custom parameter

I would like to be able to write *Italic as the argument for my Disable Masters parameter, instead of copying the name of all my 12 italic masters into the parameter.

And perhaps *!Italic for uprights or something like that?

Keep in mind that *Italic is a valid master name. Rather a different UI altogether, one that lists all masters and lets you select and dis/enable.

Yes, I’m aware that’s planned. I find that UI lacking as well, however. The ability to define an axis location at which all masters are omitted (e.g. ital=1) would be much more useful.

Generally, how realistic is variable font subsetting (not just master-based, but arbitrary ranges) from Glyphs’ side?
