I’m using Glyphs Mini to create a handwritten font and I was wondering if there is a way to program it in such a way that if someone types a double letter, an alternate character set comes up? For example, if I typed “wiggle,” the second g would look different from the first?

Not in Mini. You could do a g_g.liga ligature though.
