Alternative mark on custom glyphs?

Hello!

Is it possible to substitute marks with an alternative one in a custom ligature glyph like this:

Thank you.

Manually:

  1. Click on the mark component. Additional panel will appear from a right side of Info panel.
  2. On that panel, click on the mark name and select your alternate mark in a dropdown menu.

Thank you so much @michaelrafailyk for your help, so there’s no option in OT to have this mark alternates with the occurance of specific glyphs?

You need to add a contextual substitution: Features, part 2: contextual substitutions | Glyphs

If you want to substitute the mark on only one component of the ligature (e.g. above the waw but not the alef ) then you need to do that before the ligature substitution, since after the ligature is formed you can no longer tell which ligature component the mark belongs two.

Thanks Khaled, I should add this to the tutorial. And it probably makes sense to use UseMarkFilteringSet.
