Hi. I am working on a mono stroke font. Every time I try to shorten or expand the length of a stem its width changes. Points always snap to grip and can’t get the exact width on every diagonal stem with this happening. Is there any plug-in or way to keep my diagonals stem’s width always the same? THANKS
I don’t quite understand the issue. You want your diagonal stems to retain their width when you extend them or drag the ends of the stroke outline? The nodes always snap to the grid, unless you set the Grid Spacing to 0 in Font Info > Other Settings (not recommended!). Maybe the Open Corner dialogue is what you’re looking for, that way, you can extend a stroke or change terminals without dragging the outline nodes directly.
