Hi,
Is it necessary to set the anchors (Cmd + U) for every diacritic & glyph in the arabic fonts?, while InDesign is already adjusting the position of diacritics automatically, but TextEdit does not support that whether I set anchors or not! specially with the Ligatures.
Please advise & correct me if I’m wrong.

Yes, you need anchors in all your glyphs. You can call cmd+U for all glyphs at once in the font view. But you will need to adjust the anchor position for most glyphs. You don’t need anchors in most glyphs that only consist of components.
