Hello,
I’m currently working on an Arabic font and trying to adjust the placement of marks (tashkeel) using anchors. I’ve named the anchors correctly, but the positioning still doesn’t seem to work after exporting.
Hello,

Where are you testing this?
Are you using nested components (components that themselves contain components)?
Im testing on Adobe. Not using nested components.
Are you using the latest version? Sure it’s not a font cache problem? Test in fontgauntlet.com to be sure. Otherwise:
ok, it is working on fontgauntlet.com. I think I do have a cache problem when I use Adobe. How can I fix it?
Are you using the Adobe hot folder for fonts? Or have you been installing the font?
I’ve been using the hot folder.
That’s odd. Are you 100% sure? What application are you testing it? What paragraph composer? You might have to switch to the world-ready paragraph composer.
Pretty sure that’s not the font you are exporting into the Adobe fonts folder. In InDesign you can open the Type > Find Fonts dialog and click on Show in Finder.
I suspect it’s an old export with a different file name (that’s why the file doesn’t get overwritten) or installed in a different place (Font Book or the InDesign Fonts folder).
