Auto alignment doubts

Hi everybody!

Probably a pretty basic question, but I still can’t get my head around this issue:
I’m using components to create caroncomb from circumflexcomb but when I flip it and enable the automatic alignment, the component snaps to the baseline, and it makes it hard to set the anchors properly, let alone automatically.
Here you can see the problem:

I have a similar issue with greaterequal and similarly composed glyphs: if I enable the auto alignment, I can’t shift them vertically to match the math operators’ optical height; if I disable it, every change of spacing in greater or minus will misalign greaterequal.

I was also wandering why #exit and #entry anchors don’t work properly if I build hungarumlaut with two acute characters. Gkyphs keep stacking them one on top of the other, like it does with the ellipsis, even thought I’ve set the two anchors properly.
Any solution to these problems?

Thanks in advance for your response!

Can you send me the .glyphs file?

Thanks. I might be able to improve the alignment algorithm.
