Automatically interpolating custom contextual kerning lookups

Hello!

I’m working on a Kannada font with four weight masters which requires manual contextual kerning (which I have included in the Prefix section in Features as stand-alone, weight-specific lookups). These lookups are then included in the relevant master-instances using the custom parameter `Replace Feature’.

If I were to generate intermediate instances, is there a way to automatically interpolate these custom lookups by Glyphs during generation?

Not built-in. But you ought to be able to script it.

Any cue on about how to script it? I feel totally lost but I really need to get it done :confused: I’m able to code it as a static kern OT feature, but then…?
