Brace layers don't show nodes since build 1212

Something changed in build 1212 that makes nodes and other stuff like alignment zones and anchors invisible on brace layers. The same file works fine on build 1211 and lower.

Just in case, verify that View > Show Nodes > In Foreground (Shift-Command-N) is checked.
