Brace layers in Variable Font

I have a two axis variable font and need two types of brace layers in the /e. One that controls the width axis (at wdth=60) and another to control the weight of the horizontal (at wght=113). In the screenshot the masters are in black and the brace layers in pink.
I think I added all necessary brace layers to create an even designspace and the static fonts export without problems. Though the shape of /e looks totally different in the variable font (blue). Is this a Glyphs bug or am I missing something? I’m working with the latest cutting edge version. But also tried exporting with the latest stable version of Glyphs. Same result there.

The algorithm to compute the instances for static fonts and variable fonts is fundamentally different. The Font Info > Other > Font Type > Variable was ment to switch the static fonts to use the variable algorithm, but I never got that to properly work.

ok thank you! Do you think you will make this work with Glyphs 4?
