Bracket Switching in Variable Font Export problem, Hanzi Character

Working on a variable Hanzi Font with bracket switching forms:

The weight axis ranges from 100(Thin) to 900(Heavy) with an intermediate master of 400(Regular)
For this glyph “酬(uni916C)” I’ve used the bracket trick to switch forms from weights heavier than 750. It works in the preview panel yet doesn’t work in the exported variable file (tested in Illustrator, Samsa, FontGoggles).

The layers were set like this. Only the “Heavy [750]” differs from “Heavy”, the rest are identical pairs. Interpolation in compatible between all masters. I’ve tried my best following the guides but I assume I might’ve missed something trivial here. Thanks in advance!

Glyphs2 / Version 2.6.7 (1359)

The variable font export in Glyphs 2 is a bit limited. But I can have a look. Can you send me the .glyphs file?

Just sent a file containing only the “酬” character. Thank you for your help!

The export works find in Glyphs 3. I don’t think that I’ll find time to fix this in Glyphs 2.
