I’m trying to move the handle here to make the curve tangent horizontal, but it insists on staying one unit too low. Any idea what happens here?
Have you tried converting the Smooth point to Sharp point, moving the handle and converting back again?
I got it to work by adding handles to the straight segment. It’s still a bug, though. 
Can you recreate that and send me the file?
It isn’t anything new; I’ve had the same problem for several versions. I just deal with it. I don’t have any current projects exhibiting the problem, however.
Please send samples of it as soon as you find any of those problems. Otherwise I can’t fix it.
