It seems that in Glyphs version 1.3.17 (429), the “Show cutting edge versions” preference checkbox is backwards (though it worked properly in the past).
When checked, pressing the “Check Now” button to check for new versions indicates that I’m up-to-date. Unchecking the “cutting edge” box and pressing “Check Now” indicates that 1.3.18 beta 2 is available.
