Just installed the new 1015 build and it seems that metrics keys like this: =-30 do not work anymore. They are now greyed (greened)-out as if they referenced a missing glyph.

I can confirm this. For me, things like “==O-1” seem broken. Glyphs shows the yellow triangle but applying “Update Metrics” doesn’t fix it.

I got that problem too. “Update metrics” does not help. I have only two masters, no layers.
The right metric key supposes there is a glyph called n-20, but I suppose you are trying to refer to the RSB of n, minus 20 units, so the metric key must be =n-20, note the equals sign at the beginning.
