Not sure what you mean. Perhaps the script mekkablue > Masters > Copy Layer to Layer?
Ah sorry let me clarify, I mean I want to back up each active master layer, like the ‘Copy’ button in the Layers panel where it creates a new layer. Copy Layer to Layer doesn’t let me create a new layer
In Font Info > Masters, option-drag a master layer to the area below it.
EDIT:Sorry, didn’t notice you were looking for a scripting solution.
It’s okay for now I just select all the glyphs and press Copy in the Layers Panel
