Not sure if this is intentional, but I want to type Arabic for the sampleText but switching keyboard layout is disabled and only the English layout can be used. I can paste Arabic text in there, though.
Possible that the text entry field for custom parameters is Roman only. Usually this makes sense because entries are lists of glyph names, etc. But you are right, sample texts are an exception. For now, please use the copy-paste method as a workaround.
