Why do you ping the glyphs update site? The plugins are installed from GitHub.

What did you actually do? What happened? Did you get any error in the macro window?

Hi Georg, this is the message I get when I try to install Mark´s plugin from the Glyphs plugin panel.
I went through the different solutions Rainer suggests doing in the dedicated article to solve this but I still have that message…

Is GitHub reachable from your location? And do you you have a reasonably fast internet connection?

Update: Sorted Georg… there was an empty MarkZones folder in my system that was result of having used the trial before. The second I deleted it I was able to install it again. Thanks in any case for looking at this.

I tend to overlook threads in this forum if I am not tagged. To anyone reading this, it’s generally a good idea to tag any plugin developer here, or contact them directly.

Anyway, glad that it is working!
Those empty folders are often due to git having hiccups when installing, like Georg said usually with a sketchy internet connection.
