Can't directly open some glyphs files

Some files I can just double-click on and they’ll open. Others I have to open using File>Open in the app.

The ones I can open say “glyphs” in the finder icon.
Using version 3.2.1 (3258) on MacOS 14.4.1.
Any ideas?

Can you send me one of the “broken” files?

And what happens when you drag the files into the app icon?

The double clicking is determined by macOS. You can check what app is associated witheach file in the Info dialog in Finder (select the file and press Cmd+i).

You can reset the system by running this in the Terminal:

/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchServices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -seed -r

I just did cmd-i on two files:

Seems like the permissions may be causing the issue. On the ones I can open directly with double-click, Staff has read only. I’ll try resetting permissions.
EDIT didn’t work. I’ll try a system reset, thanks
