I have been unable to generate fonts from a Glyphs file. I get this error
I have the identical glyph in an older document that Glyphs can generate fonts from. I copied and did a ‘paste special’ from this working file to the current one, but get the same error.
Only if I disable all the glyphs that use this cap component I can get the file to generate the fonts.
Ideas?

Have a look at how the cap spans two segments in the last two masters.
Select that green node and hold Option+Control move it to the right to not overlap the corner any more.
Looking at it again I can’t understand why I didn’t catch that myself. Oh well, thank you Georg. If you could make any progress on the other issue with the ligatures that would be great. NB: My theory is that the visibility of the issue has changed in the versions built since I encountered the issue. See how I had moved the points in all the high contrast masters, but not in the low contrast ones. I think it wasn’t visible.
