They work fine in 3260, but look like this in 3414:

I see the problem. I’ll have a look. Until then, use a better setup that avoids the problem:
The node1/2 anchors are not supposed to be at the end of the strokes. Move them so that the outline where the corner is attached to, is at the metrics line. That way it is much easier to align. And you don’t need the first segment on the cap path (as long as it is completely vertical. And I like to put the caps in the orientation and position where they are used.
