Character name for alternate

I have a couple of alternate characters, i.e. Q.alt.001 and Q.alt.002. I have a few other alternates as well, but these are the only two in the font named with an additional numerical suffix. None of my alternates are part of a Stylistic Set, nor should they be.

In Font Info, under the Uppercase Class listing, the numerical part of the suffix (.001, .002) is highlighted in blue. Is this blue highlighting there for a reason, perhaps calling attention to a naming issue?

This is just because all number values are color-coded blue in the AFDKO feature syntax. No naming issue at hand.
